Thank you so much for choosing Child Crisis Arizona to be a part of the Subaru Loves to Help and Operation Warm Coats program! We appreciate you making the trip to the East Valley last week to personally drop off 480 warm, new coats and take a tour of our Early Education programming space. Your generous contribution from Operation Warm and Peoria Subaru will not only provide warmth to underserved children and families, but will also instill confidence and SMILES. Thank you for this amazing opportunity and all you do to give back to the community.

Members of our team at Peoria Subaru were able to partner with Foster Alliance to fulfill multiple foster kids birthday wishes! Each team member was given a list of what the child likes then picked out the items from the Foster Alliance warehouse. After picking out the gift they were able to wrap each gift so that child gets the joy of opening the present as well. Each child received 5 gifts, one stuffed animal, and one book! Foster Alliance is working hard to make sure each child in the foster care can experience a good birthday. It was our privilege to be able to assist in a small way with what they are doing within community!

On Friday the 28th of October we were able to be apart of the Trunk or Treat Event at Sunburst Elementary. We donated over 8,000 pieces of candy and over 1,300 bags of pretzels. We decorated two Subaru vehicles to pass candy out of as well. Thank you Sunburst for letting us be apart of this!

This year we were able to adopt 25 classrooms! By doing this it will help over 800 students with supplies and ways to help with their education. As we visited the school the teachers shared some of the ways they will be using the money donated. Many are buying flexible seating, school supplies, building their own gardens, and more. We are thankful to partner with our schools!

Our team was able to volunteer time at Thrive AZ. We helped them inventory some of the donations to get ready for their HUGE Christmas Event. Thrive AZ helps foster care children who are aging out of the program.

On July 14th we were able to throw Jimmer a send off party! Jimmer's wish was to go to Dana Point, CA barracuda fishing. Subaru of America granted this wish and we are Peoria Subaru were able to host his send off party! The party turned out amazing. We even had some donations from Bass Pro for Jimmer to take on his trip! Jimmer we hope you have an amazing time on your vacation!

Our staff and customers were able to color bookmarks to send to Valley of the Sun United Way to help encourage reading to their summer program.

This month we are doing a volunteer event that you can do from the comfort of your own home with us. We are coloring pictures to send to Color A Smile. Color A Smile has been around since 1980. Go to their website below to see how you can get involved with us!

We were able to present Make-A-Wish Arizona with the donation form our Share the Love Event. Thank you Make-A-Wish for all you do for the community!

In the month of June we are partnering with Leukemia and lymphoma society. We will be taking blankets and art kits to a cancer center to donate to patients.

Sunburst Elementary invited us to help set up their Learning Fair. Where each grade level presents something they have learned over the last year.

What was the best time of your life as a grade school student? BOOK FAIR! We were invited to come and help set up the book fair at Sunburst Elementary on May 5th and we are so excited!

Over the last week we have been making homemade cards to encourage and support newly housed individuals with the St. Vincent de Paul's Program.

We have partnered with the City of Peoria to do park clean up on April 12th. We will be cleaning a local park for a few hours to help bring awareness to Subaru Loves the Earth.

We will be spending the morning of March 14th helping make emergency placement kits, organizing donations, and other tasks given to help in any way. Arizona Helping Hands provides essential services to children in foster care through their programs that promote safety, permanency, and health.

In honor of Read Across America some of our team here at Peoria Subaru will be going to Sunburst Elementary to read to students!

Read Across America is aiming to promote reading through events and partnerships among children and teens all across the nation.

March 2-6, 2023

We will be donating 500 pairs of socks to Phoenix Dream Center this month in honor of Subaru Loves to Help. Phoenix Dream Centers mission is to stop human trafficking, end childhood hunger, and educate tomorrows leads.

How can you help? Bring new packages of socks into the store to our receptionist and we will take them to donate as well!
