Celebrating the Finale of Subaru Share the Love with Wish Kid Dylan and Make-A-Wish Arizona - Vicki F
Make-A-Wish Arizona was honored to return to Peoria Subaru for the exciting finale of the Subaru Share the Love® campaign. The incredible partnership between Peoria Subaru, the dedicated Peoria Subaru team, and Make-A-Wish Arizona continues to make a meaningful impact for local children facing critical illnesses. This year's celebration featured Wish Kid Dylan and his beloved Pomeranian puppy, Shadow — the puppy Dylan wished for through his Make-A-Wish! Wish Kid Dylan was proudly featured throughout the campaign, and the finale event celebrated all of his favorite things, along with some special treats and fun for Shadow, too. Together, through the generosity of Peoria Subaru and its customers, more than $71,000 was raised to help grant life-changing wishes for Arizona children with critical illnesses. The support of the Peoria Subaru community helps bring hope, joy, and unforgettable experiences to wish kids and their families across the state. Thank you Peoria Subaru and Subaru of America for making wishes come true for our Arizona Wish Kids!
Sponsoring the Sunburst Elementary Talent Show - Miranda B
We were incredibly proud to sponsor the Sunburst Elementary Talent Show this year and help support a night that meant so much to the students, families, and staff. The talent show was more than just performances on a stage — it was a chance for students to build confidence, express themselves, and feel proud of who they are. From singing and dancing to comedy and creative performances, every student who stepped onto that stage showed courage and heart. Watching the excitement on the students' faces and seeing families cheer them on was such a powerful reminder of how important community support can be for children. Events like this create memories students will carry with them for years. They help children feel seen, encouraged, and celebrated for their unique talents and personalities. At Peoria Subaru, the Love Promise is about supporting moments that bring people together and help young people feel confident, supported, and loved by their community. We are so grateful to Sunburst Elementary for allowing us to be part of such a special evening and for everything they do to help students shine both inside and outside the classroom.

As the school year came to an end, we wanted to take a moment to recognize the incredible teachers and staff at Sunburst Elementary for the love, patience, and dedication they gave their students all year long. To show our appreciation, we put together end-of-year gifts for the staff as a small reminder that their hard work truly matters and does not go unnoticed. Behind every successful school year are teachers and staff members who give so much of themselves every single day — encouraging students, supporting families, staying late, showing kindness, and helping children grow both inside and outside the classroom. We wanted each staff member to feel appreciated for the difference they make in the lives of so many children. Sometimes a simple gesture can remind someone just how valued they are. As the temperatures started warming up, we wanted to do something fun and refreshing for the incredible staff at Sunburst Elementary. So we surprised the teachers and staff with Tiki Shaved Ice as a small way to say thank you for everything they do each day. What may seem like a simple treat turned into such a fun and meaningful moment. Seeing teachers laugh together, take a break from their busy day, and enjoy something just for them was so special. Teachers spend so much of their time taking care of others, often putting their students before themselves. We wanted them to feel appreciated, celebrated, and reminded that their community sees all the hard work and heart they pour into the school every single day. At Peoria Subaru, the Love Promise is about showing up for the people who make a difference in our community. Sometimes it's the little things — a cold treat, a shared smile, a moment to feel appreciated — that can brighten someone's entire day. This year, we had the honor of purchasing the yearly staff shirts for the entire team at Sunburst Elementary. While it may seem like a small gesture, to us it represented something much bigger — appreciation, unity, and support for the people who pour so much into the students and families of our community every single day. From teachers and aides to office staff, cafeteria workers, custodians, and administration, every person at the school plays a role in creating a safe, caring, and encouraging environment for students to learn and grow. We wanted the staff to feel seen and appreciated for all the work they do, especially the countless things that often happen quietly behind the scenes. Seeing the staff wearing their shirts together throughout the school was such a special reminder of the heart behind Sunburst Elementary and the strong sense of community that exists there. This year, we were incredibly honored to be part of the Sunburst Elementary Learning Fair — not just as a sponsor, but as members of a community that truly cares about its children and families. Walking through the event and seeing students proudly showing off their work, families gathered together, teachers encouraging their students, and the excitement in every room was something really special. Events like this are about so much more than projects or displays. They bring people together. They create connection. We believe that reading opens doors to imagination, learning, and opportunity. That's why we were so happy to lend a helping hand in setting up the book fair at Sunburst Elementary. From unpacking books and arranging displays to helping prepare the space for students and families, being part of the setup allowed us to support an event that encourages a lifelong love of reading and learning. There's something special about watching students walk into a room filled with excitement, curiosity, and stories waiting to be discovered. Book fairs create more than just access to books — they create moments. Moments where children discover a new favorite story, feel inspired to learn something new, or simply experience the joy that comes from reading. We know teachers and school staff already give so much of their time and energy to make events like these possible, so we were grateful for the opportunity to step in and help however we could. Celebrating Alysia - Miranda B
This month, we had the chance to surprise Alysia at Sunburst Elementary with our Teacher of the Month recognition. Even though Alysia is not technically a teacher, there was never a question in our minds that she deserved to be celebrated. Some people make a difference without ever asking for attention. They show up every day, helping wherever they are needed, caring for everyone around them, and carrying so much on their shoulders with kindness and grace. That is exactly who Alysia is. She goes above and beyond for the students, staff, and families at Sunburst Elementary simply because she cares. Not for recognition. Not for praise. But because her heart is genuinely in it. When we surprised her, you could see how emotional she was. And honestly, so were we. Because sometimes the people who deserve appreciation the most are the ones who never expect it. People like Alysia are the quiet heart of a school. The kind of people who make others feel safe, supported, and cared for every single day without realizing just how much of an impact they truly make. This Mother's Day, we set up a simple card-making station in our showroom for customers and families to create handwritten cards for their moms and loved ones. What seemed like a small idea turned into such a special moment. We watched kids carefully color pictures, write sweet messages, and proudly carry their handmade cards to give to their moms. In the middle of a busy day, it gave people a chance to slow down and remind someone they are loved and appreciated. At Peoria Subaru, the Love Promise is about more than cars — it's about creating meaningful moments and showing our community that kindness still matters. Sometimes the simplest gestures come from the heart the most.

During Teacher Appreciation Week, we wanted to take a moment to give back to the incredible staff at Sunburst Elementary by providing lunch for the entire team. While a meal may seem simple, it was our way of saying thank you for everything these educators do — the long hours, the patience, the compassion, and the dedication they bring into their classrooms each day.
